How many cards does Shell Cordovan Wallet hold?Shell Cordovan Wallet comfortably holds 3 cards per pocket, for a total of 12 cards. You can fit more cards if needed, but keep in mind that overloading may stretch the pockets. If you carry 9 cards or fewer, there’s also space for folded cash.

Why Shell Cordovan?Shell Cordovan leather is only made by a few tanneries around the world, using a process that Horween first developed back in 1905. The leather is soaked in vegetable-based liquids, then dyed, glazed, and polished by hand. The whole tanning process takes over six months. The result is a leather that’s incredibly durable and lasts much longer than most other types of leather.

Will the leather change over time?Shell Cordovan is a highly durable leather that only gets more beautiful with age. With a little care and polishing, you can easily restore its signature mirror-like shine again and again. Thanks to its dense fiber structure, Shell Cordovan resists creasing and cracking.

Big Upgrade from my 4 years old Nomad Card Wallet
I was quite hesitant to purchase this wallet because of my previous negative experience with my Nomad wallet and their poor quality. I also waited for the price to be reduced during Black Friday. When the price was reduced, I decided to buy it. It has a very premium and classic design, and it’s made in the USA🇺🇸. I paired this with my carbon black Nomad Rocky Point Band AWU. P

The wallet endgame (if you can justify the price)
This wallet is great if you just have to carry a couple cards and some cash (bills only). I'm carrying a Nomad tracking card, a driver's license and a credit card as well as come Euro bills and feel that's about what I could comfortably carry. I guess you could cram more cards in, but it will be a very tight fit I'm not ok with if I also want to easily get the cards out. The cash takes up a card slot as well. I find Nomad is stretching it a lot with the amount of cards they claim could fit (12 or 9 with cash)... The quality is definitely a step above the rest of the wallet lineup. and I'm sure it will hold up for years to come. The type of leather and the wallet being made in the United States rightfully incurs a premium price tag. It still seems to scuff just as much as other leathers though. Regular care might alleviate this and I would've liked to see Nomad include a sample size of some care product like they say so in the product guide. This is in fact not included. Shell Cordovan is renowned for a reason and if you want the best of the best for your wallet, this is pretty much it. If you just need a decent wallet, I'm not entirely sure the premium you need to pay is worth it.
